While I feel comfortable traveling internationally on my own, I know that I don’t have the skills nor the experience to simply camp on my own. Thankful for my friend Bre, who accompanied me on a one-night-only trip to the Napa area recently. On our trip we learned to think outside the box (or tent, as we had a tent but no poles to support it and had to improvise with rope!), enjoyed chili by the fire pit, expertly played the word “do” three times in Scrabble, read and spent time drawing in the cool morning air, and got a little sweet treat on the drive home.
